These terms describe, in plain language, how ordering from Malabar Fresh works. They are practical guidelines for a small Ontario grocery storefront, not a formal legal contract, and we make no claim that they satisfy any specific law or regulation.

Order requests, not instant orders

When you submit an order on this site, you are sending us an order request, not completing an instant, guaranteed purchase. Our team reviews every request and contacts you to confirm item availability, final pricing and any fees before the order is treated as accepted.

Substitutions

Fresh produce and imported items can sell out between your request and fulfilment. If an item is unavailable, our team will contact you to suggest a substitution or remove the item and adjust your total before delivery.

Delivery and pickup

Our team will contact you with delivery instructions after your order is placed. We do not promise specific delivery times or dates on this site. Delivery is $3.99 on orders under $25.00 before tax and tip, and free on orders of $25.00 or more. Pickup is always free. There is no minimum order.

Payment

We currently accept payment by Interac e-Transfer or cash on delivery/pickup. Payment instructions are shared once your order is confirmed. We do not process card payments on this site.

Pricing and availability

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and may change without notice. Listing a product does not guarantee stock — availability is confirmed when our team reviews your order request.
